HiPot Tester and Electrical Safety Testers
A hipot tester (hi pot tester or hy-pot tester) and instruments for Dielectric Withstand tests are used for performing either a series of or a specific electrical safety test on electrical components and products to ensure they meet operator safety requirements as well as comply with UL, CSA, IEC, and other standard certifying bodies. A high grade hipot medical safety analyzer must be able to perform high precision hi-pot testing and have reporting capabilities to indicate tested equipment falls within required specification.
Hipot Testers and Electrical Safety Analyzer - performs hipot testing, insulation resistance tests and ground bond tests. CaptivATE Automation Software is available.
Specialty Hipot Testers - used to perform high-voltage AC Hipot, ACDC Hipot and DC Hipot testing as well as insulation resistance testing and ground bond tests
Multi-Purpose Hipot Testers - performs insulation resistance testing, ground continuity and they have a broader testing range for AC Hipot, ACDC Hipot and DC Hipot tests. CaptivATE Automation software is availble.
Basic Hipot Testers - economical, easy-to-use Hipot testers that perform simple AC Hipot, ACDC Hipot and DC Hipot tests
